Despite these promises, many question the future of our world, and pertinent questions still remain.

The global leaders engaged in heated arguments over climate change and socio-economic issues. The Third World called for immediate action and requested allocation of resources in combating climate change, as well as aid to countries affected by war. The developed world, on the other hand, lobbied for incremental commitment and shared responsibility, proposing that nations take gradual steps towards reducing emissions in addition to developing countries contributing to their capacities as well.
