Asian Student Union

The student unions, being relatively new groups, were founded at Charter in 2020- the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Asian Student Union (ASU) is led by Samantha Ko, Bing Yang, Janelle Castro, Shiloh Lee, Marissa McDine, and Jocelyne Gao.

ASU strives to serve as a safe space for students to express their concerns and learn more about asian culture, but also as a means of communication from admin to student body.

The student leaders meet with administration monthly to discuss upcoming and current events regarding the student body, future events, and how they can better serve CSW.

In the past, events such as Game Night have been held with Asian snacks, drinks, and games in an open to all event style.

In the future, ASU hopes to create a comfortable space for students to express concerns and struggles and cultivate the best possible environment for all students to learn and grow.
