Fall Festivities

The Charter School of Wilmington is just finishing up its season of fall festivities. Fall fest kicked autumn off with games, great food, and plenty of activities that gave students a chance to unwind and enjoy the season. The energy only continued to build as homecoming approached with a spirited homecoming game and dance. Charter even enjoyed a surprising upset at pep rally – the sophomores beat the juniors convincingly in dodgeball, tug of war, and hallway decorations to claim second place.

The excitement is only heating up as temperatures drop, with winter activities just around the corner. Student government has already announced its plan for candy grams, an annual tradition that allows students to send sweets to their friends.

When asked about future events, sophomore representative Christopher Zhuang replied:  “Don’t fret, the stu gov has many upcoming plans, especially for the winter.”

Students, stay tuned – the end of our fall festivities only marks the beginning of a year full of great school events. Go force!
